Darren Winterstein

CEO & Founder of OrAuction

Darren Winterstein, the founder of OrAuction, is an Austrian and South African national and an accomplished business executive with demonstrated success in managing one of the largest auction houses in Africa. After earning a diploma in business management, Darren spent 25 years as the Co-Owner and CEO of Aucor in South Africa. In his role, Darren oversaw business operations that included valuations, auctions, and private treaty sales, as well as turnaround and continued running of distressed businesses such as small retail stores, service industry businesses, mining, and construction ventures. Darren’s responsibilities at Aucor also included high level sales and operational contact with clients including major financial institutions and banks, large multinational corporations, government entities, and other international legal auditing and accounting practices.

Now, building on his professional experience in the auction house industry, Mr. Winterstein is founding OrAuction, an app for small business auctions that will include both auctions and sales.
